This is totally a forest bathing experience for you! Thank you for taking us all on the ride :) I love your nature talks - I’m always so impressed by how much you know about the natural world and how more enriching it is for me to be out there post your knowledge drop

I was thinking recently about how we used to listen to music. We’d just sit down and listen. Or get up and dance. I definitely did that. And now music always has to accompany something else -- a drive, a walk, a workout, work, god knows what else. It’s become functional, something playing alongside another activity. Because there’s never enough time for anything.

It feels almost too luxurious now to just sit down and listen. Or to just go for a walk. Actual luxury. I felt a little sad reading your piece, because somehow these incredibly simple things have turned into luxuries for us.

I love to luxuriate in just lying on my back and listening to an album from beginning to end. Nothing like it.

Lovely tour. I love the smell of pine needles too. Was just thinking of moving some and using it as mulch in my yard. Enjoy the getaway!

I think bees are the most fascinating, amazing creatures! Like, how do they know how to make perfect geometric shapes and delicious honey? They’re truly so incredible— I had no idea there were so many species.

Some say I am the bee whisperer. I really ought to beekeep one day. :)
